Lushlife is a Philadelphia emcee/producer who’s been creating those rare contemplative hip hop tracks with a classic east coast flow. His music video for “Magnolia” is creative and captivating as the visualizations are in sync and compliment the beats and vocals of his track. “Every word to “Magnolia” (188) was handmade using cardboard (discarded from grocery stores), hot glue guns, and paint pens. Random people at over 65+ locations and a handful of friends were used as rappers throughout the video. The video was done completely practical and wound up costing a little under $80.” Check it out below.
