If you know me, I love shoes. I notice shoes everywhere I go. Stealing subtle glances of people’s shoes on the bus, at work, the subway, the bar, the street. My one staple pair of shoes that I would recommend as an essential to anyone’s wardrobe is a nice pair of oxfords. They can be worn with jeans, dresses, tights, shorts, or dress pants and can easily be interchangeable to dress up or down an outfit. Below are a few pairs that have been on my wishlist. I really like the monk strap from Joie, the textured pattern from Ten & Co., and the classic lace-up from Frye.
